 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor as well as a comedian and activist. After immigrating to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as an actor for children. The appearances she made as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 until 2016 - and in 2020 - have has made her famous. In addition to her commercial appearances, she also appeared as a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She also had regularly featured on the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. After being cast in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors, Vayntrub also voices Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At two years of age She and her parents immigrated to the U.S. as refugees to get away from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. At five years of age, she began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to economic hardships in her family. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. But she dropped out of school after her sophomore years. She was able to get an GED and then went on to get a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. She was a part of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and was a student of the art of improv comedy.
